People scan listings in seconds. A few simple rules get yours clicked and sold faster.
1. Put the key facts in the title
The title is the first thing people see in search. Say what it is, its best feature and where it is.
- Weak: "Couch for sale"
- Strong: "Leather 3-seat sofa, like new, pickup in Clifton"
- For rentals: "Renovated 2BR in Paterson, heat included"
2. Shoot in daylight
- Take photos near a window, without flash.
- Show every angle, including flaws. Honesty builds trust.
- For rentals, shoot each room wide, including the ceiling.
- Clear the background; clutter distracts.
You can add up to 10 photos on Amerikailanlar. The first one is your shop window, so put the best one first.
3. Answer questions before they're asked
Include size, brand and model, age, condition, why you're selling and how pickup works. For rentals: rent, deposit, utilities, move-in date, pets and smoking rules, transit.
4. Price it right
Check similar listings. Leave a little room to negotiate, but a high price kills interest. Say "Negotiable" or "Firm."
5. Choose the right category and city
The wrong category means the people searching won't see you. Pick the right city or area; people usually search nearby.
6. Reply fast
Most messages arrive in the first few hours. Quick, polite replies sell.
7. Feature your listing
In busy categories like rentals, jobs and cars, a Featured package puts your listing at the top of its category and on the home page, which matters most in the first week.
8. Follow the rules
Listings with prohibited items or discriminatory wording ("only X nationality," "no kids") aren't approved. Rentals must follow Fair Housing rules.
